On the personal page, the founder and former CEO of The KAfe Dao Chi Anh has just shared about his new business project called Gather. This is a combination of 3 models: Cafe; Studio (gym) and Spa.

According to Dao Chi Anh, Gather’s team is mostly women, the time from the idea to completion is only about 4-5 months.

“Women in general, not only in Vietnam but also in Asia, are too little cared for, cared for, pampered and cared for in every detail. While we are an important workforce of the country’s economy and a fire to keep the happiness and peace of every family, small or large, ”former CEO The KAfe said of Gather’s inspiration. .

The complex will start welcoming guests today (October 24) during the Private Tasting event with a menu priced at VND250,000 per person for a 4-course meal and a drink.

Dao Chi Anh was born in 1984 in Russia, raised in Germany and Taiwan. She studied high school in Vietnam and graduated from the University of Singapore. In 2013, Chi Anh founded KAfe Group – a company exploiting and developing 4 brands: The KAfe, The KAfe Village, The KAfe Box and The Burger Box.

In mid-October 2015, KAfe Group “caused fever” in the Vietnamese startup community when it successfully raised $ 5.5 million in the first round of fundraising from investment funds in London and Hong Kong.

For many months after that, people mentioned Dao Chi Anh – the founder and director of this brand as a model of successful businesswoman who inspires young people to live with passion and dare starting a business.

However, not long after, public opinion stirred about the fact that KAfe Group was defrauded by its partners and occupied billions of dong in business capital. In October 2016, Dao Chi Anh suddenly revealed on her personal page that she no longer held the position of CEO of this company.

In June 2019, Dao Chi Anh raised $ 200,000 community capital on GoFundMe with the goal of rebuilding The KAfe. However, this project then stopped because the number of backers was too small.
