Recently, Ms. Le Thi Ha Thanh, wife of Mr. Nguyen Thi Tuan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Construction Development Investment Jsc (DIC Corp. Code: DIG) registered to sell 1.6 million shares for the purpose of structuring personal portfolios.
The transaction is expected to be carried out from November 18 to December 17, according to the method of order matching or agreement. If the transaction is successful, the number of shares of DIG Ms. Thanh owns will be reduced to 7,166 units, equivalent to 0.001% of the company’s charter capital.
The wife of the chairman of DIC Corp. has registered to divest most of its capital amid a surge in DIG shares in the market. At the end of November 12, DIG shares reached VND70,900 per share, up 104% in just one month and 3.3 times higher than at the beginning of the year. It is estimated that at this price, Ms. Thanh will earn more than VND113 billion after the transaction.
Previously, in October, DIC Corp completed an offer of 75 million individual shares to 6 investors at the price of 20,000 VND/share, much lower than the market price of DIG’s shares at that time in the market.
At this offering, the major shareholder of Thien Tan Investment and Development JSC bought 38 million shares, bringing the total number of shares owned by DIG to more than 98.5 million shares (19.71%).
Along with that, Chairman of the Board of Directors Nguyen Thien Tuan, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors Nguyen Hung Cuong and Mr. Cao Van Vu together bought 10 million shares, increasing their ownership to 50.4 million (10.08%), respectively. 51.2 million (10.25%) and 10 million (2%) shares.

Regarding business results, revenue and net profit in the third quarter of DIC Corp reached VND 539 billion and VND 43.3 billion, respectively; down 67.5% and 68.6% respectively over the same period last year.
The total assets of the enterprise as of the end of the third quarter of 2021 was over VND 13,917 billion, an increase of nearly 18% compared to the beginning of the year. In which, short-term and long-term receivables are nearly 5,659 billion dong, inventory is nearly 4,296 billion dong.
On the other hand, long-term debt of DIC Corp increased sharply from 825 billion dong to more than 2,835 billion dong, the total loan balance was 2.2 times higher to 3,300 billion dong and total liabilities increased by more than 25% to 8,823 billion dong.
