Dong Nai province has 35 industrial zones approved by the government and up to now 32 industrial zones have been established, while 3 industrial zones are completing the procedure, namely Cam My Industrial Park (area 300ha in Cam My district), Phuoc Binh Industrial Park (area 190ha belonging to Long Thanh district) and Gia Kiem industrial zone (an area of 330ha in Thong Nhat district).
These new industrial zones will, in the future, attract many domestic and foreign investors operating in the industries that the province is in need. It is expected that in the period of 2021-2030, it will put into a new plan and expand 8 other industrial zones in districts and Long Khanh city.
Currently, the occupancy rate of the industrial zones in Dong Nai is 82%, but there are also about 1,300 ha of land in Song May, Ho Nai, Amata, Dinh Quan, Long Khanh, Dau Giay are stuck in the compensation stage, site clearance due to people not agreeing on land price and disputes are occurring.
