The Department of Planning and Investment of Long An province has just announced the list of investment projects using land to select investors for two projects.

Specifically, the project urban area Can Giuoc town – the North (Can Giuoc town, Can Giuoc district) has a total investment of nearly 2,876 billion VND (not including site clearance costs).

The specific boundaries are as follows: The East borders on the planning of Vang Vong 1 road, Can Giuoc town, the West borders on Can Giuoc bypass, the South borders on Mr. Cau Tram, the North borders on the land to plan social infrastructure works green land and new urban land. The current status of the land has not been cleared.

The second project is Phuoc Lai urban area (Phuoc Lai commune, Can Giuoc district) with a total investment of nearly VND 7,187 billion (excluding land clearance costs).

The boundary is as follows: The North borders on Rach Dua river; to the South by An Phuoc – Saigon residential area, Rach Ban river; The East borders on the Tan Tap – Long Hau I, II residential, commercial and service area and the West by Can Giuoc river.

According to the zoning plan of 1/2000 scale, Phuoc Lai urban area has a total area of 820 hectares with the nature as an urban residential area according to the model of smart urban, compressed and modern city. Estimated population size 160,000 people.

Previously, in May 2020, the People’s Committee of Can Giuoc district issued a decision approving the planning task of 1/500, the TMS Phuoc Lai Smart Urban Area. The project is planned to build by TMS Global JSC.
