Ninh Thuan Provincial People’s Committee has just approved the 5-year housing development plan for the period 2021-2025 in the area, with a total capital of more than 9,790 billion VND.

Accordingly, the plan to concretize housing development targets in Ninh Thuan province according to the Provincial Housing Development Program for the period of 2021-2025 and orientation to 2030 has been approved.

According to Ninh Thuan Provincial People’s Committee, the average housing area of ​​Ninh Thuan province by 2025 will reach about 25 m2 of floor/person, of which urban area will reach 29 m2 of floor/person, rural area will reach 22.2 m2 of floor/person. Minimum residential area 10 m2 floor/person.

Along with that, the total residential floor area increased by about 2.9 million square meters, equivalent to 30,442 units. In which, individual houses are about 2.2 m2 of floor, equivalent to 18,827 apartments; commercial housing about 235,668 m2 floor equivalent to 1,964 units; Social housing for cadres, civil servants, public employees, self-employed workers, low-income people about 118,190 m2 of floor / 2,364 units.

The rest is for official residence (9,440 m2 of floor/236 units); housing for people with meritorious services (50,292 m2 of floor/ 1,118 units); housing for poor households (232,335 m2 of floor / 5,163 units) and housing for workers (36,960 m2 of floor / 770 units).

According to Ninh Thuan Provincial People’s Committee, the total capital for implementation in the 2021-2025 period is more than 9,790 billion VND. In which, the central capital is more than 100 billion VND; local budget over 37 billion dong; loans from the Bank for Social Policies more than 149 billion VND and other capital sources from organizations, economic sectors, households, individuals, bank loans, deposits… over 9,505 billion VND.

Ninh Thuan Provincial People’s Committee said that in order to implement the plan, the locality will reserve land for housing development to ensure compliance with the master plan, land use plan, general construction planning and zoning planning approval. In particular, special attention is paid to the land fund and housing fund to arrange resettlement to serve the needs of infrastructure construction and urban embellishment.

At the same time, Ninh Thuan will clearly identify the location and prioritize using the clean land fund managed by the province to implement social housing projects.

In particular, Ninh Thuan said that it will issue policies to attract, encourage and call on businesses of all economic sectors to invest in housing development, invest in infrastructure construction of residential areas, residential spots, etc.

Currently, Ninh Thuan is speeding up the elaboration, appraisal and approval of detailed planning on the basis of urban general planning and new rural planning already approved by competent authorities; determine and announce the land fund permitted to build houses according to the planning to serve as a basis for organizing the implementation of housing development projects and creating conditions for households and individuals to build and renovate houses. according to planning.

Ninh Thuan also called for investment in Phan Rang – Thap Cham city in commercial housing, social housing in the planning areas of residential areas, new urban areas; accelerate investment in technical infrastructure in urban areas, residential areas and main streets in the province to increase the residential land fund for people, as this is the main resource to increase the living in the area.
