Transactions of proprietary traders of securities companies (Securities Companies) are the minus point of the stock market in April. According to FiinPro data, the proprietary traders on the HoSE bought 194 million shares, worth 8,406 billion VND while selling 232 million shares, worth 9,084 billion. The total net selling volume was at 38.3 million shares, equivalent to a net selling value of nearly 677.4 billion dong, down 14% from March. Internal ETF fund certificate FUEVFVND was sold the most by proprietary traders with the value of 629 billion dong. HPG and VRE were behind with the net selling value of VND272 billion and VND 195 billion, respectively. Another domestic ETF fund, FUESSVFL, was also net sold 188 billion dong. Meanwhile, VGC topped the list of net buying of the proprietary sector with 237 billion dong. TCB and VIC had a net buying of 183 billion and 144 billion dong, respectively.
Contrary to proprietary flow, foreign investors net bought back VND71.4 billion on HoSE after 6 consecutive net selling months. However, foreign investors still net sold up to 4,286 billion dong through matching orders in April.
Foreigners were net buyers the most on VIC with the value of VND1,130 billion. VHM and NVL were net bought at VND 1,050 billion and VND 915 billion, respectively. Notably, the two internal ETFs, FUEVFVND and FUESSVFL, were net bought by foreign investors, equivalent to net self-selling volume of VND 635 billion and VND 185 billion respectively. On the other side, VPB was sold the most with 1,640 billion dong. CTG and VNM also had a net selling value of more than 1,000 billion dong.
